COME AND JOIN THE WONDERFUL MASSED CHOIR FOR THE FESTIVAL!

 SEASONED SINGERS ARE VERY WELCOME!

On Sunday, July 16 at 2:30pm, the Gala Closing Performance of the Festival celebrates the 150th Anniversary of Canada and Ontario (called “OUR HOME AND NATIVE LAND”).  We are seeking choristers from Southern Ontario to join us in this once in a lifetime concert. You will be performing with the Festival Symphony Orchestra, The Festival Massed Choir of 110 voices, The Junior Amabile Singers, and four outstanding Canadian Soloists- Anita Krause (alto), Leslie Fagan (soprano), Colin Ainsworth (tenor), and John Avey (bass), -in total 200 performers!  As well, we have an unprecedented FOUR commissioned works from the pens of four Ontario composers (Matthew Emery, Jeff Smallman, Elise LeTourneau, and Stephanie Martin). All of these works, have everyone performing.

We rehearse in June in either London or Exeter (you choose which one), and then join all together during the Festival week for the two days leading up to the Sunday Gala Performance.

We would love to have you with us in this unique and exciting performance. As in all previous Festivals, the concert is the crowned jewel of all of the performances.

As ever,

Gerald Fagan
